About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fire Pump Engineer Engineer to join one of the largest Fire Protection companies in the UK that offer fantastic training and development opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire pump systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently in accordance with industry standards.
Fire Pump Engineer Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire pump systems.

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on diesel and electric fire pumps.

Install and commission new fire pump systems when required.

Perform testing and inspections to ensure systems meet safety and compliance requirements.

Complete service reports and documentation accurately.

Provide technical advice and support to clients when necessary.

Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
Fire Pump Engineer Requirements

Previous experience working with fire pump systems or similar mechanical equipment.

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

Knowledge of fire protection systems and relevant standards.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable (but not essential)

Experience with diesel engines, electric motors, and control panels.

Background in fire protection, sprinkler systems, or pump engineering.

Relevant engineering qualifications.
Fire Pump Engineer package
-
£40,000 - £45,000 basic salary dependant on experience
- £5,000 a year in bonus plus plenty of OT available at an enhanced rate
