We are recruiting on behalf of a client of ours, a leading company in the fire protection industry, specialising in high-quality sprinkler systems. Due to this expansion, they are looking to add a talented and driven Sales Manager to their team.

Position Overview:
As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of their sprinkler systems division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, specifically sprinklers, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within this sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales professionals to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Fire Protection sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets for sprinkler systems.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including partnerships, contracts, and projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations with prospective clients.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in fire protection and sprinkler systems.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to maintain consistent growth.
  • Work closely with the technical, project management, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Provide senior management with regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.
  • Mentor and coach the sales team to enhance product knowledge and improve sales techniques.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Protection Sales Manager or in a similar role within the fire protection or construction industry, with a focus on sprinkler systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection regulations, sprinkler system design, and industry standards.
  • A track record of driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and leading a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering solutions that meet client needs.
  • A technical understanding of sprinkler systems is advantageous but not essential.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
