Testing and Inspecting Electrician

Snowdon Recruitment is looking for a skilled Testing and Inspecting Electrician to join our client’s reputable electrical compliance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a range of commercial and industrial sites.

· Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in both commercial and industrial settings.

· Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.

· Identify, document, and report any defects, non-compliance issues, or safety hazards.

· Deliver clear and detailed reports on the state of electrical installations, with recommendations for corrective actions.

· Ensure all inspections align with current standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.

· Stay informed on industry standards, legislation, and best practices.

· Communicate findings clearly with clients, addressing questions and offering technical guidance as needed.

· Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment in line with requirements.

· Consistently follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

· NVQ Level 3 / Gold Card

· City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.

· Minimum of three years commercial/industrial testing experience

· 18th Edition

· In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.

· Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).

· £38,000 basic salary. (£45,000 OTE)
