My client is a world leading high performance fire rated ducting. They have a global reputation for excellence and are now offering an exciting opportunity to join a team which travels globally. The role is a wide and varied in  customer query management, supporting the installation team preparation and coordinating fire testing. 

We are looking for a career minded person that is looking for progression and is interested in further training in project management. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good customer manner. You must have an understanding of ducting design and installation but you do not have to have been a designer or installer. Preferably you will have AutoCAD skills or at least knowledge of it. You must be able to understand technical drawings, be able to liaise with international clients globally so time zones can be a challenge. You must be able to assist in the hands on of the works they do such as assist in erecting test ducting in test facilities in various locations. The position would require UK and International travel often to test facilities in Europe so a flexible approach would be required.

Any experience of the below would be an advantage but is not essential as training with be provided:

Test standards 

BS 476 part 24

EN1366 part 1, 8 and 9

Experience in assessments and classification documents.
