My client is a leader in developing smart home energy solutions, particularly in home battery storage systems. The role is to be the in-house electrical expert, with the role of installing, training, supporting and representing the company in it’s field operations. 

Duties include:

• Acting as the company's lead electrical engineer, completing installations and maintenance work. 
• Acting as the technical electrical expert by keeping up to date on all current technologies and demonstrating expertise in all company products.
• Develop and document (with contractor) an auditing process which is then to be trialled and rolled out across the subcontractor network. 
• Certification body accredited and signing off work
• Achieving NICEIC / NAPIT accreditation and ensuring every job completed is signed off and the NICEIC / NAPIT and Building Control are notified if necessary. 
• Ability to engage and train other electricians on key products and processes through periodic training events. 
• Leading on the testing and design of installation processes for all new internal and external products, working closely with the product development team.

Required Skills:

• City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 Course (Diploma in Electrical Installation) or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Part P Domestic Installer.
• Circa 3 - 5 years experience or more working on electrical installations 
• Experienced and competent to work on 3-phase systems
• Experienced and competent to work on Solar PV systems
• Experienced and competent to work on with DC systems
• Has worked to Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standards 
• Domestic installation experience
• Experience engaging with customers, clients and senior management 
• Experience in delivering class-based training to small groups of people
