About the Role

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in fire safety?
We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding organisation that’s looking for a hands-on Small Works Project Manager to take ownership of fast-turnaround installation and commissioning projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple projects at once, and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

About the Company

This company is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. They believe that great talent comes from all backgrounds and experiences — and they’re building a team that reflects that belief.

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking, people-focused organisation that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Small Works Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of small to medium-scale fire safety installation and commissioning projects. You’ll coordinate teams, manage budgets and timelines, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and ensure every project is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver multiple small works projects from inception to completion.

  • Coordinate installation and commissioning teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Oversee budgets, procurement, and scheduling to achieve on-time and on-budget performance.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.

  • Report regularly on project performance, risks, and outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven project management experience in fire safety, electrical, mechanical, or construction sectors.

  • Strong understanding of fire detection and alarm systems or similar safety installations (preferred).

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and relevant British Standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
