Infrastructure analyst required by my FTSE 250 company, you will join their busy infrastructure team within the IT department. Reporting to the ‘Lead Infrastructure Analyst’, the role will involve documenting, building, managing & supporting the server, network, application & telecommunications infrastructure of the business, ensuring the smooth operation of the systems for the company. The successful applicant will also be expected to become involved in both IT and business projects.

Key Accountabilities

Support & maintain the current server platforms (hardware & software).

Support & maintain the current IP and network infrastructure & hardware.

Support & Maintain the existing telecommunications platform.

Support the Senior Infrastructure Analyst in building, maintaining and supporting the technical landscape

Support the Senior Infrastructure Analyst in IT and business projects where needed.

Maintain the infrastructure and asset documentation.

Assist the ‘Service Desk’ & ‘Desktop Support’ teams when needed.

Any other ad hoc duties as requested by your manager or the directors of the company.

What we are looking for

Good standard of education (GCSE/A-Level), plus a Microsoft or technical qualification.

3 years’ extensive experience working with Windows server 2008+ (including Active Directory, DHCP, Group policy).

3 Years’ experience with Microsoft Exchange Servers 2010+.

3 years’ extensive experience working with LAN and WAN technology (including TCP/IP, DNS, VOIP, Firewalls, switches).

Extensive experience working with Virtualization technology – VMware.

Experience working with on premise Telephone Systems.

Experience with Office 365 and cloud technologies.

Experience supporting web-based applications, IIS, and SQL Server.

Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of technologies.

Excellent knowledge of working to compliance standards such as ISO27001.

Knowledge of networking & security technology.
