Job title - Solar PV Design Engineer

Location - Peterlee (office based)

Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Our client is looking for a skilled Solar PV Design Engineer to design and develop Solar systems by conducting site assessments, optimizing solar installations for performance and efficiency and creating detailed designs.

This company are a leading specialist in Renewable energy across the North West and are undergoing masses of growth at the moment, so it is a perfect time to get involved.

The ideal candidate will have at least a year of Electrical Engineer experience and a good knowledge of Renewable energy.

The typical day to day requirements include but are not limited to :

Design solar PV systems for residential, and commercial projects, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, and structural considerations.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical engineers, and installers to ensure seamless project execution.

Utilize software tools such as Opensolar, PVsol, to create accurate solar PV layouts and simulation.
